How AWST and Eastern time line up on an engagement
Our team works in Australian Eastern time. Perth is on AWST, UTC+8, and does not observe daylight saving; neither does Brisbane, on AEST at UTC+10, so Perth sits a steady two hours behind it all year. Sydney and Melbourne add a third hour from October to April. A Perth working day overlaps the eastern one from about 9am to 3pm AWST: six shared hours in winter, five in summer. One meeting window per block, agreed in writing, inside 9am to 2pm AWST. Anything raised after the eastern day ends is picked up when the next one starts.
